There are four main categories within Masdar Free Zone Licensing that can suit both small businesses and large conglomerates.
- New Venture: AED 10,000 will cover two separate endeavors.
- Mid-range:All five events for AED 15,000.
- Extensive: Permitting ten actions for AED 20,000.
- For AED 10,000, the UAE Nationals & Khalifa Fund offers five events.
Strategic steps must be taken in order to set up a company in Masdar City Free Zone.
- you’ll need to submit a name registration form and pay the name reservation fee to begin the name registration process. The commercial name certificate can be obtained after the name has been approved.
- Documentation and License Application: A licensing application, along with the business plan and other required paperwork, must be submitted after the trade name certificate has been issued. After reviewing all of the paperwork, the Free Zone Authority will issue an Acceptance Letter within 3 days.
- Opening a Bank Account: After receiving the Acceptance Letter, the required starting capital can be put into a business bank account. The bank issues a capital confirmation letter.
- License Purchase and Rental Contract(4): After the Capital Confirmation Letter has been submitted to the Free Zone Authority, the Memorandum and Articles of Association (MAA) can be signed. After the Proof of Capital Letter is issued, the license can be granted. The final step is turning in the license and signing the lease.
