Short version: every AED figure on this site is an indicative planning figure, not a quotation. Where a free zone publishes a price on its own website, we record that price, the exact page it came from and the date we read it. Where a free zone does not publish a price, we say so instead of estimating one. Confirm the current fee with the free zone before you pay anything.
What we treat as an official source
- The free zone authority’s own fee schedule, handbook or PDF.
- The authority’s own package or offer page, including limited-time offers.
- A written quote or calculator result issued by the authority or one of its approved partners.
Consultancy blogs, marketplace listings and other comparison websites are not official sources. When a figure comes from one of them it is labelled indicative, and it is never presented as a free zone’s own price.
What we record for each price
- The package or fee name and the amount in AED (USD where the authority prices in USD; we convert at USD 1 = AED 3.6725).
- What the price includes and excludes: licence term, visa count, flexi-desk or office, establishment card, VAT and authority levies.
- The exact source URL and the date we read it.
- A confidence label: official, official but promotional, indicative, or quote required.
Why two figures for the same zone can differ
Free zones publish fee components (application, registration, licence, establishment card) and separate bundled packages. Packages can be promotional, limited to certain applicants, or exclude the office, the visa or the medical and Emirates ID steps. A “from” price is the entry point of one configuration, not the total you should budget. Multi-year terms, VAT and small authority levies change the total again.
Where a zone publishes no price
As at 21 October 2026 we found no published price list on the official websites of IFZA, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Ajman Free Zone and Fujairah Free Zone Authority, so we show those zones as quote-based. We could not read the DAFZA website with our tools on that date, so DAFZA figures on this site are not re-verified against its own pages. Shams publishes package features and promotional offers but sends visitors to a calculator for its full price.

Zone guides and the home page comparison table that carry a line beginning “Source:” show the official page and the date we read it for the headline figure. Figures elsewhere on the site, including the large library of long-tail guides, are planning figures that have not all been re-verified against official pages and can be out of date, so use the zone’s own current price for a decision.

Prices change, promotions end and inclusions differ by activity, visa count and office choice. UAE Free Zone Finder is not a free zone authority and cannot confirm what a zone will charge you. See also our research methodology.

If you see a figure that does not match the zone’s own current page, please tell us through the corrections page and include the official page address, a dated PDF or a screenshot. We check corrections against the zone’s own page and update the figure or its label.
